THE FIRM
The office of Stephen E. Meehan, Landscape Architect is a full service landscape architectural practice located on Long Island, New York.  The firm provides site planning and landscape design services on all types of projects both private and public.  Virtually all of the work awarded to the firm is generated through referrals from satisfied clients and other professionals in the building and design industry.  Our residential commissions range in size and complexity from designing large properties to small private gardens.  Our commercial projects include corporate, retail and recreational landscapes.  Working with municipalities and civics our public projects include the design of monument and community parks, school and religious grounds, and town and street design.  Environmentally sustainable landscape projects include energy-conserving site design, green infrastructure design with raingardens and stormwater bioswales, native planting design, wetlands restoration, slope stabilization and "New York Rising Community Reconstruction" projects.  Most projects are located along the north shore of Long Island's "Gold Coast."  Additional project locations include the East End of Long Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Westchester, Connecticut, New Jersey, Florida, Indiana, and Europe.  In all cases, regardless of the size of the project, we strive to deliver quality design that surpasses our clients expectations.
